SplitBolts / Line Taps are used to make bonding connections between two copper ground wires. Thebolt and nut are formed from high-strength corrosion resistant material. SplitBolts have a specially designed pressure bar which provides high pull outstrength. 

A split Bolt is a bolt that split at the point where the head meets the end. This is made to make it possible to insert objects through the bolt. This is useful when securing a wire or pipe through the bolt itself in commercial and domestic applications. This has numerous applications. Split Bolt comes in a variety of materials that work well for grounding. It is more frequently used to secure splices. This bolt can be used to splice two wires into a single one.
